Meet The Owners Of Echo Day Camp
Echo Day Camp is built on the idea that a great camp starts with great staff! All of our counselors are thoroughly trained and many work with children during the school year. We pride ourselves on our staff and we are confident you will agree! The Echo Day Camp staff is one of the best and most experienced in the area. We are focused on the campers and on creating a safe, yet fun environment for them to enjoy their friends and summer. The staff's experience is evident from the top down.

Goldy
My name is Michael Goldberg, but most people at camp know me as Goldy. I have a passion for working with children and have been lucky to have spent the past 25 years in teaching, as well as day camps. During the school year, I teach 5th grade at Beach Elementary School in Round Lake. Prior to that I taught at Millburn Elementary for 11 years in grades 3rd, 4th and 5th. I live by the motto, “Play like a Champion” and incorporate that into both school and camp. When not at school or camp, I love spending time with my family. I have three amazing ladies in my life, my wife, Kimmy, and our two beautiful daughters, Hailey (15) and Jada (11). We also have two dogs and two cats to keep us busy. I enjoy sports of all kinds, especially Chicago teams, but am a die-hard Cubs fan.
Adam Lyndon
My name is Adam Lyndon, and I have a love for teaching, but I have a passion for camp. I have spent over 20 years working at day camps. When not running around at camp, I teach 6th grade math at Millburn Middle School. I have spent 6 of my 20 years teaching 6th grade, and the rest were in 5th grade. I love spending time with my family. I have three kids who all attend camp. Peyton (14), Ryen (11) and Brek (8). All of us including my wife Tracy love to spend time on the lake, and we love watching the kids participate in a variety of sports.

Echo Day Camp utilizes Millburn Middle School, and provides children with everything they need to prosper during our summer camp.
