Echo Day Camp 2023
  • Regular camp hours this year are 9am to 3pm. 
  • We will have early drop off and late pickup available again this year, so please refer to "Camp Costs" for any additional fees.
  • Millburn Middle School located at 640 Freedom Way, Lindenhurst, IL.  
  • For indoor facilities, we have 2 large gyms, 1 cafeteria, 3 classrooms, and a stage.  
  • Outdoors we have 10+ acres available for various games and activities. 
  • For the 2023/2024 school year, our youngest campers are entering Kindergarten...and our oldest campers will be entering 9th-grade.
  • Have a blast!  
  • Each age group has a structured schedule of multiple low, medium, and high level activities throughout the day.  
  • No day looks the same as far as activities go.  
  • Activities may include, but are not limited to...sports, team building, talent shows, arts and crafts, theme days, Echo Challenges, camp games, water games, Minute-to-Win-it challenges, weekly field trips, and much more.

Yes, we go on a field trip once per week and they are typically on Fridays.  Go to Echo Day Camp Calendar for current activities scheduled.

  • Echo Day Camp does not provide a daily lunch, therefore you must provide one for your camper.
  • In the morning the campers will drop their lunches off in a designated basket near the office.  
  • The baskets will then be moved by staff into our air-conditioned cafeteria for the morning hours until lunch.  The entire camp eats in the cafeteria together.  
  • We do have a cookout day once per week.  The designated cookout days are listed on the calendar page of our website.  
  • On field trip days, campers can either bring money and purchase a lunch from the concession stand...or bring their lunch.
  • Once per week we have a camp cookout.  For $3, each camper gets a hot dog, chips, a treat, and lemonade.  
  • Each additional hotdog costs $1.  Cold lunches are also welcome on this day.  
  • Campers are not obligated to purchase a lunch on cookout days. They can bring their own lunch.

Counselors are high school juniors or older.


The camper to counselor ratio for kindergarten through 2nd gradei is 8:1.  Our camper to counselor ratio is 10:1 for 3rd through 9th grade.

They are grouped by the grade level they will be entering in the 2023/2024 school year.
